I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Institute of Philosophy at Leibniz Universität Hannover. My fellowship is attached to the Chair held by Prof. Mathias Frisch. Before arriving at Hannover, I was a Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at Georgetown University. I recently completed my PhD at the University of Western Ontario, under the supervision of Prof. Wayne Myrvold. I am a member of the Rotman Institute of Philosophy and an editorial and administrative assistant at Philpapers. In February and March of 2017 I will be an Ernst Mach Visiting Fellow at the University of Salzburg where I will be collaborating with Prof. Charlotte Werndl on a project on foundational issues in statistical mechanics.
I am interested in philosophy of physics, especially statistical mechanics and thermodynamics, philosophy of science, and philosophy of probability.
I like travelling, Charlie Kaufman films, and a good coffee.
